Week 11 Literary Graphic Novels

I read David Mazzucchelli's Asterios Polyp this week. I really love his art style in the way that he portraits people and the overall unique approach on demonstrating different characters with different font and "different art style." The use of color is also really interesting and unique but so clear. The overall simplify style actually perfectly fit the line work and the color, which offers just enough information for readers to read and keep the clarity but still allows readers to understand what he wants to say.
